Square One partnered with mHUB to analyze and improve production operations at a multi-state cannabis processor’s new edibles production facility. Through hands-on, on-site data collection, Square One was able to create a comprehensive analysis of the current state of production and outline a strategic plan to realize facility goals for throughput, operational efficiency, quality, and repeatability.

Deliverables included:

• Value stream mapping

• Operational timing and efficiency data

• Company, factory, and product vision statements

• Information flow models

• Process improvement plan targeting $1.4MM annual increase in profit

While serving as the sole Manufacturing Engineer for the battery team at SpaceX, Square One’s Founder Mitch Muller worked on designing the brand new facilities for SpaceX’s Starlink satellite battery production.

Starlink—SpaceX’s satellite internet constellation—posed the unique challenge of balancing high-volume production techniques with traceability and reliability requirements of the aerospace industry.

Mitch’s work contributed to the design of the battery assembly and it’s processes in order to ultimately lead to the fastest battery production system in the company’s history.
